oobgolf — ... Race was announced well over a year ago, featuring a $10M purse and a brand new fantastic course, things were going a bit better in Dubai. Due to the economy downturn (more like a freefall in Dubai) the purse has been cut and the course is unfinished. What was supposed to be a grand stage is actually a carved out green paradise in between a full on construction zone. Still- not all is bad.
