YouTube has set up our Olympic heroes to fail. They started the Best of the US Challenge with some of our best Olympians to have them try to complete tasks that are not in their athletic expertise. For Michael Phelps, clearly, that was making five foot putts on a gymnasium floor.

Maybe I don't stand a chance against Michael Phelps in the 200-meter freestyle, but I'm pretty sure I could give him a run for his money in a speed putting contest. Thanks to the International Olympic Committee, now I have a chance, and so do you.
The Best of Us Challenge takes Olympic athletes out of their usual areas of expertise, shows off their other "talents" in a series of videos, and asks you to try to beat their "records." For instance, snowboarder Lindsey Jacobellis is a master hula-hooper -- she can hula for 30 seconds. (It's a good thing she can fall back on snowboarding.)

If you can speed-putt better than Michael Phelps you can win some cool prizes. The contest pits multiple Olympic athletes against us regular old Joe's in what's being called "The Best Of Us Challenge." The contest is sponsored by the International Olympic Committee. Basically you have 60 seconds to make as many 5 foot putts into cups as you can. Post the unedited (single shot) video and see if your skills hold up. Phelps only made 12, which I think is very beatable. I have a feeling some nutjob is going to sink about 50 or 60. I guess you just have to ask yourself, "Am I that nutjob?"
